    With over 10,000 square feet, we are the largest historic venue in downtown Raleigh featuring separate indoor spaces for both your ceremony and reception for up to 400 guests along with an expansive outdoor patio that overlooks the cobblestone streets and shining market lights of City Market and Moore Square Park.

  • Market Hall is just a 7 minute walk to Fayetteville Street, the hub of downtown Raleigh featuring the newly renovated Sheraton Raleigh, Marriott City Center, and Residence Inn as well as museums, bars, restaurants and retail stores. Your weddings guests will enjoy a weekend of exploring the City of Oaks all within walking distance.

  • Our full-service wedding packages make hosting your downtown Raleigh wedding easy and fun. Exclusive in-house gourmet catering and bar services are provided by our Executive Chef, service staff and highly experienced event managers to streamline your wedding plans and provide you with the best service. By providing the china, glassware, and silverware, this includes a HUGE Savings of $15-$20 per person in rentals compared to off-site catering where rentals are not included.

  • With a 14 hour rental you will have over 6 hours to relax and have both parties get ready in our two separate Wedding Party Suites! Each suite is over 1,000 square feet with a lounge, changing room and private bathroom. Our Chef will prepare you a light lunch, coffee, mimosas and chilled wine & beer for the wedding party to enjoy before the event begins.

  • Guests will enjoy a completely indoor ceremony in one room, cocktail hour on our outdoor Blake Street patio or inside the hall, and a separate room for your reception! For parties 200 or less we will not need to flip any room which will provide a seamless experience for your guests! From passed hors d’oeuvres, crafted cocktails and a full coursed dinner with paired wines, you will receive the very best experience that will have your guests talking for years to come

Wedding Venue Rental Package Includes:

  • Rental Time: 10:00am to 12:00am. Guests must leave by 11pm if they have a DJ or 10:30pm if they have a Band to allow for vendor breakdown. Additional Rental Time is $500/hour. (This is a New Policy Beginning for Contracts Signed as of September 2022).

  • Sample Timeline below:

    • 10:00am Wedding Party Arrives in Suites for Hair & Makeup, Mimosas & Coffee Provided!

    • 11:00am Vendors arrive for setup (Florists, Cake, DJ, Band, Decor, etc.)

    • 12:00pm Lunch Provided by our Chef for the Wedding Party in Suites

    • 4:00pm Guests Arrive

    • 4:30pm Ceremony begins

    • 5:00pm Cocktail Hour

    • 6:00pm Reception Begins

    • 11:00pm Reception Ends, Breakdown for Vendors Begins

    • 12:00pm Venue Closes

  • 1 Hour Rehearsal: Date and Time will be confirmed 30 days prior to the wedding date.

  • Park View Room for a seated ceremony up to 200 or standing cocktail hour for up to 220

  • Market View room for a seated ceremony or reception up to 300 or standing reception for up to 400

  • An Outdoor Ceremony Option is available on the cobblestone street for an additional fee and upon city approval.

  • Our Outdoor-Covered Patio runs along Blake Street with lighting, patio tables and great views of Moore Square and the charming cobblestone streets of City Market.

  • Two Wedding Party Suites (1,000 square ft. each) with private bathroom, dining and seating areas.

At Market Hall, you and your guests will experience a unique and custom food and beverage menu on your wedding day that is fully prepared with local, fresh ingredients by our culinary team. Executive Chef Chris Hill will customize a menu for you at a Private Tasting.

Step 2:

Schedule a Tour

Tours are offered Tuesday-Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm around our event schedule. Saturday Tours do not view the dressing suites once our clients are onsite getting ready. Tours take approximately 90 minutes: 45 minutes to view our property and a 30-45 minute consultation to review our menu and custom proposals.

Step 3:

Reserve Your Date!

No date is held without a signed contract and reservation fee equal to the venue rental fee for your date. Our Sales Manager will provide you with a contract to sign and link to pay your reservation fee with a credit card online. Prime Date Availability is listed on the link below.
